Keith Lucy Dubuque County Auditor
Born and raised in Dubuque as part of a community involved family. Lucy was a standout wrestler at Dubuque Senior High and University of Dubuque, son of Nick Lucy (center), and brother of Eric Lucy (right)who coaches Tennis and Golf at Wahlert High School.
Keith Lucy is an Infantry Veteran, trained as Combat Medic and Operations Sergeant. While serving, Lucy earned several commendations including Distinguished Honor Graduate, Expert Infantry, and reached state level Soldier of the Year in both Iowa and North Carolina.
Other honors include Manager of the Year and Volunteer of the Year. Lucy's volunteer service includes church youth leader, Stephens Minister, wrestling coach, work with local theatre productions, and as a member of several boards.
Keith began his professional career as a graphic designer at a nationwide event company where he transitioned to Director of Sales and Marketing for thirteen years. In 2005 Keith moved from sporting events to a career in insurance and worked at a large insurance brokerage until Keith was elected Dubuque County Auditor Nov. 5, 2024.
